The Twist I is an exercise that challenges the abdominal muscles and 

arms and upper back.

Targeted muscles: abdominal muscles (rectus abdominis, oblique major and 

transverse - rectus femoris - tensor fasciae lata - vastus lateralis - greatus 

gluteus maximus and adductor longus - biceps femoris - deltoids

Benefits: stabilises the shoulder girdle - strengthens the obliques, 

the lateral flexor muscles of the spine and the girdle 

scapular. Stabilisation of the body.
